The Bartender at Lynora’s is a hospitality expert rather than an order taker. Anyone can write down what a guest wants and mix a drink. A Lynora’s bartender will assist in creating the Ultimate Experience for their guests. The Lynora’s Bartender  is able to accurately and energetically articulate the company’s narrative. They know and understand the long and successful history of Lynora’s and the Abbenante family. In joining the Lynora’s team, they become an extension of the family and always present themselves in a professional and respectful manner.


They are able to fully describe every item and drink on the menu, as well as featured items and promotions. They are experts in discerning a guest’s needs and can decipher what individualized experience will be most pleasing. Lynora’s Bartenders have studied culinary processes as well as wine and spirits from various cultures. This gives them the knowledge necessary to suggest delightful pairings and make recommendations for those who are unsure of particular flavor profiles. 


The Bartender is the ambassador of our brand and they represent us in the most positive light. They have the ability to separate themselves from anything unrelated to work that may take away from their job performance, attitude, appearance or level of service. The guest experience is the top priority.  


Evaluative Measures

All Lynora’s Bartenders will be held accountable for the following: speed and accuracy, knowledge of ingredients and recipes, overall cleanliness, ability to work with others, willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty, performance with opening and closing procedures, customer service skills and adherence to company policies. Periodic evaluations will be used as coaching tools to promote personal and professional growth. 


Related Duties And Tasks

All employees will be held to very strict guidelines related to health, safety and sanitation. We take great pride in maintaining a clean restaurant and have standards that are far superior to our competitors. You will be tasked with assisting the rest of team in safeguarding our restaurant against filth and clutter. You will also be held accountable to proper food handling procedures put in place by the State and Federal Governments. Your direct supervisors will work together to coach and teach you in areas in which you are unfamiliar. You will also be required to work all shifts scheduled unless absence is approved by a supervisor. You are responsible for your own transportation to and from work and you must always look professional, arrive in proper uniform and be on time for every shift. All employees will be held to the same standards. 


Experience Required

Must have at least 2 years of bartending experience in a high volume establishment.
