Requirements/Responsibilities
Specific Tasks:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and presentation standards.
Deliver warm, genuine, and personalized hospitality to every guest.
Possess extensive knowledge of the cocktail, wine, beer, spirits, and food menus.
Make thoughtful beverage recommendations and suggest pairings based on guest preferences.
Verify guest identification and serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with all state and local laws.
Maintain complete knowledge of daily features, seasonal offerings, and menu changes.
Accurately enter beverage and food orders into the POS system.
Coordinate with Captains, Food Runners, and the culinary team to ensure timely service.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the experience and promptly resolve service concerns.
Prepare guest checks, process payments accurately, and maintain proper cash-handling procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including workstations, glassware, tools, refrigeration, and storage areas.
Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, and bar supplies throughout each shift.
Complete opening, running, and closing side work according to company standards.
Ensure all garnishes and ingredients are fresh, properly prepared, and stocked before service.
Assist with inventory counts, receiving deliveries, and minimizing product waste.
Maintain compliance with all Department of Health, sanitation, and food safety standards.
Follow all company beverage recipes, portion controls, and liquor accountability procedures.
Communicate effectively with managers and team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the dining room and service areas as needed.
Promote teamwork by supporting fellow employees during busy service periods.
Maintain a polished professional appearance and uphold Falsetto Hospitality's service standards at all times.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale, or fine dining restaurant or cocktail program.
Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, premium spirits, wine, beer, and food pairings.
Excellent communication, hospitality, and guest engagement skills.
Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency.
Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsible alcohol service certification and Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain) preferred.
