BIICS, Inc is looking to fill a Business
Analyst position. The position is located in Tallahassee, Florida and work is on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate
collecting system requirements with the business program staff.
- Develop
documentation (i.e., diagrams, flow charts, requirements document).
- Perform
needs analysis, analyze business processes, develop process maps, and assist
project managers in all phases of the projects.
- Develop
test cases and test plans, and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Perform
testing on system changes to meet user defined requirements.
- Facilitate
UAT with the business program staff.
- Facilitate
meetings with technical and program staff (i.e., scheduling meetings, document
decisions, identify issues and action items).
- Produce
status reports on the implementation of user defined requirements.
- Follow
client IT processes and coordinate with other client IT staff to ensure
compliance with client standards.
- Correspond
(verbally and in written formats) with project teams, internal stakeholders
regarding project activities, deliverables, and status.
- Actively
participate in project status meetings.

Coordinate
efforts with the client Contract Manager to achieve cost savings where feasible
and practicable. Those efforts include, but are not limited to, identifying
common system errors in systems that can be resolved in a manner that achieves
cost savings.
Requirements
- Five
years of experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies and
documentation
- Five
years of experience Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and
Visio.
- Five
years of experience with meeting facilitation and documentation
- Four
years of experience implementing, integrating with or maintaining MicroPact’s
Versa Online and/or Versa Regulation products
- Five
years of experience with creating and presenting internal and external status
reports and detailed status reports suitable for presentation to the management
team
- Five
years of experience with leading meetings and determining work tasks that need
to be
completed
- Six
years of experience with delivering the project in the agreed schedule, to the
correct technical specification (i.e., defined to meet user requirements)
within the approved budget or other specified criteria.
