Job Overview: The Director of Sales will play a key leadership role in driving revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence across Park Square Homes’ active communities. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, this individual will oversee the day-to-day execution of sales strategies, manage Area Sales Managers and Sales Counselors, and ensure consistent alignment with company goals and customer experience standards.

This role requires a dynamic leader who combines strategic sales management with hands-on coaching, market insight, and a deep understanding of the Central Florida homebuilding landscape. The Director of Sales will serve as a bridge between corporate strategy and field execution—helping drive sales performance, community launches, and long-term profitability.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead the daily execution of Park Square Homes’ sales strategy to achieve revenue and margin goals.
  • Partner with the Vice President of Sales to develop annual sales plans, budgets, and incentive programs.
  • Oversee sales operations across all communities to ensure consistency in pricing, presentation, and contract execution.
  • Monitor sales performance, traffic, conversion rates, backlog, and closings to identify trends and drive results.
  • Provide feedback on product positioning, community releases, and pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness.

Team Development & Performance Management

  • Supervise, coach, and mentor Area Sales Managers and Sales Counselors to maximize performance.
  • Foster a high-performance, team-oriented culture built on accountability and professionalism.
  • Conduct community visits and field evaluations to assess effectiveness and reinforce best practices.
  • Lead regular sales meetings to review results, communicate initiatives, and recognize top performers.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and career development programs to strengthen the sales organization.
  • Collaborate with HR and the Vice President of Sales on succession planning and long-term team growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Market Insight

  • Partner with Marketing to align sales messaging, promotional campaigns, and community launches.
  • Collaborate with Construction, Land, and Purchasing to coordinate lot releases, inventory, and start schedules.
  • Work closely with Finance to forecast revenue, track closings, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Analyze market trends, buyer demographics, and competitor activity to inform pricing and incentive decisions.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to company-wide strategic planning and execution.

Customer Experience & Brand Representation

  • Champion Park Square Homes’ customer-first philosophy throughout the sales organization.
  • Ensure a seamless and positive buyer experience from initial visit through closing.
  • Partner with Design Studio and Customer Experience teams to maintain smooth transitions post-contract.
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns with urgency, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Represent Park Square Homes at realtor events, public functions, and industry gatherings to promote brand awareness.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 7–10 years of progressive sales management experience in homebuilding or residential real estate, including at least 3 years in leadership.
  • Proven success leading sales teams to exceed goals in a high-volume homebuilding environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills with a results-driven mindset.
  • In-depth understanding of the Central Florida housing market and competitive landscape.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales analytics tools.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to use standard office equipment (computer, phone, copier, etc.).
  • Ability to travel between communities, sales centers, and corporate offices regularly.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during community visits.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds for marketing materials or event setup.
