GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
This is a temporary hourly intern position working no more than 20 hours per week. Work involves a variety of helperlevel functions and projects. Projects involve the use of computers and other office equipment. Intern must demonstrate a working knowledge of interior architecture and design, project management and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Intern assists the Real Estate and Capital Project Management Team with duties related to space allocations, property renovations, and general construction projects.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS
As a Project Management Intern, you will support the project management team in planning, executing, and monitoring projects. You will assist with various tasks such as project documentation, scheduling, and communication to ensure that projects are completed on time and within scope.
Examples of Duties

Assisting with furniture selection and installations, signage package development and installations, as well as move management.
Assist in preparing presentations for stakeholders.
Collaborate with team members to ensure project requirements and objectives are met.
Perform research and analysis to support project design, planning and decision-making.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Typical Qualifications
-
Must be currently enrolled in a program pursuing a degree in Interior Architecture and Design, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit or SketchUp is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) is a plus.
