ABA Squad is hiring a full-time Health Services Coordinator to support our client intake and authorization process. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with families, insurance verification, and healthcare/ABA documentation.
This position is a key part of our onboarding process and helps move new referrals from initial caregiver inquiry to assessment and therapy authorization.

What You’ll Do
- Answer caregiver calls and guide families through the intake process
- Collect and document intake information for new referrals
- Send intake packets and consent forms to families
- Follow up with caregivers on incomplete paperwork, missing signatures, and pending documents
- Verify insurance benefits and eligibility for new referrals
- Request and track initial assessment authorizations and therapy authorizations
- Maintain accurate records in company systems and intake tracking tools
- Follow up with families and insurance companies to keep cases moving forward
- Complete monthly eligibility checks and annual benefits verification for active clients
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in healthcare intake, insurance verification, authorizations, ABA administration, medical office administration, or a similar role
- Strong phone, follow-up, and customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple open cases
- Experience working with commercial insurance and/or Medicaid
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Comfortable learning and using multiple systems, spreadsheets, and payer portals
- ABA, pediatric therapy, or behavioral health experience is a plus
