OVERVIEW
Supports the administration of Human Resources processes and supports the Safariland Armor team. Ensure HR compliance with various federal and state regulations. Administer HR processes, policies, and procedures. Support internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, company policies, and other HR activities.
KEY OBJECTIVES
Support HR activities for Safariland Armor team, especially providing HR support for manufacturing and operations team
Support associate requests as needed
Demonstrate urgency in meeting requests concerning benefits, compensation, HRIS system, recruiting, payroll, etc.
Support employee engagement and talent acquisition
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support for HR initiatives and the delivery of HR services and processes
Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are compliant
Support new employee orientation to engage new employees and assimilate them into the Company
Maintain HRIS and employee records
Coordinate and deliver training, such as interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment
Provide HR data reports as required by the business
Support the recruiting process by drafting job offers, maintaining and updating job descriptions, and coordinating job postings and advertisements
Support the exit process by ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and issued at termination, conducting exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations
Assist in administering benefit programs, including annual open enrollment process and maintain accurate records through all areas of HR
Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, human resources, psychology, or related field
Previous internship experience a plus
Experience in the manufacturing industry a plus
Ability to work with confidential information and maintain confidentiality
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and Human Resources best practices
Must have the ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced changing business environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Spanish language proficiency a plus
