Salary: $120,000-130,000
Ready to take ownership of maintenance operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility?
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance organization for a high-volume production operation in Florida. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to build strong maintenance teams, improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and keep production moving.
If you have a strong background in food or beverage manufacturing and enjoy solving problems, developing technicians, and driving continuous improvement, this could be an excellent next step.
What You'll Lead
- Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians across multiple shifts
- Own preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Improve equipment reliability, uptime, and overall maintenance performance
- Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, PLC/automation, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Partner with Production, Quality, and Sanitation to support production goals
- Identify root causes of recurring equipment failures and implement lasting solutions
- Drive TPM, Lean, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts, inventory, contractors, and vendors
- Lead equipment installations, commissioning, upgrades, and improvement projects
- Track maintenance KPIs, including downtime, PM completion, and MTBF
- Ensure maintenance activities meet OSHA, FDA, GMP, food safety, and facility standards
What We're Looking For
- 5-10+ years of maintenance experience in food or beverage manufacturing
- 3+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, with Electrical Engineering strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience with PLCs, automation, controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Working knowledge of CMMS and preventive/predictive maintenance programs
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop skilled maintenance professionals
- Experience in baking, high-speed packaging, or high-volume production is a plus
The Person We're Looking For
You don't just react when equipment goes down. You look at why it failed, how to prevent it from happening again, and what the maintenance organization needs to improve long term.
We're looking for a leader who can balance the urgency of daily production with preventive maintenance, reliability, safety, team development, and continuous improvement.
This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment and may require occasional off-shift, weekend, or emergency support.
