What You’ll Handle

Flextrude is hiring a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment running safely and reliably on day shift (Mon–Fri, 7am–3pm) with occasional overtime/weekends. This role exists to reduce downtime through fast troubleshooting, solid repairs, and consistent preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities include mechanical troubleshooting on motors, gearboxes, pumps, and conveyors; working with pneumatics and hydraulics; basic to intermediate electrical troubleshooting (sensors, switches, control wiring); reading mechanical drawings/schematics; welding and fabrication as needed; supporting PLC/VFD and automation systems; completing maintenance documentation/logs; and following safety compliance requirements.

Required skills:
- Strong problem-solving; able to work independently and with a team
- Hands-on experience with industrial maintenance systems listed above

Pay: $26.62–$28.62/hr. If you can keep equipment performing and want steady, onsite work in Sanford, apply now.

Your Typical Shift

You start on-site at Flextrude Aluminum Shapes (2540 Jewett Lane, Sanford) and check the maintenance board and open items from the prior shift. Most of the day is spent moving between production lines, responding to equipment issues as they come up, and coordinating timing with production so work gets done with minimal disruption. You’ll also work through scheduled PMs, update logs as tasks close out, and keep tools and parts organized for the next job. Some days are steady and planned; others require quick pivots when a line goes down. Overtime or weekend coverage comes up when production demand requires it.

Benefits Package

Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage; 401(k); Life Insurance; Health Savings Account (HSA); Paid Time Off; competitive pay; and access to a Snack/Drink Room.
