Support accounting process innovation initiatives within the Shared Services General Ledger (GL) Accounting team by leveraging AI-driven solutions and automation to streamline workflows, improve operational efficiency, enhance data accuracy, and drive more agile accounting processes across multiple business units.
What We Are Looking For
Preferred Major:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
- Undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing.
Required Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Foundational understanding of accounting principles through introductory accounting coursework.
- Strong work ethic with a demonstrated willingness to learn.
- Positive, proactive, and collaborative attitude.
- Experience creating presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship, work, or project experience utilizing Excel for data analysis or reporting.
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Exposure to AI tools and technologies used to improve business processes.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through work, student organizations, athletics, or volunteer activities.
What We Offer
Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $19.80 – $27.20 pay rate/hour. This rate is based on the intern's current year in their respective university programs. Graduate students may receive a higher rate of pay based on their year in school. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
