As a learning media designer on the Instructional Design team, you’ll be responsible for designing and developing basic to moderately complex learning media to support various learning initiatives, which includes partnering with Instructional Designers (ID) and subject matter experts (SMEs). Uses content provided by instructional designers to influence media approach, design and timelines. Maintains the department website, which includes updating and modifying course information, and assists with the maintenance of department documentation and media.

Must-have qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of 3 years experience in instructional design/development, media design, video production, graphic design software, e-learning, programming experience or related experience
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher.
 
Preferred skills
  • Learning-Centered Media Expertise: Provide one portfolio showing how you use media (audio, graphics, video animation, interactive elements, etc.) to improve comprehension, retention, and customer engagement. Ensure all links/content are accessible and the work is your original creation. Include a brief context/summary for each example. Your examples should showcase technological fluency and breadth of skills, along with iterative project experience (attach portfolio when submitting application)
  • Strategic Collaboration: Track record partnering with customers and stakeholders to co-create solutions.
  • Business-Oriented Storytelling: Experience translating business metrics and objectives into media concepts that drive measurable engagement and retention
  • Technology Fluency: Skilled in media production tools and platforms. Specific programs or tools: Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, Articulate, Microsoft Suite, Vyond, Figma
  • Experience adopting new technologies to enhance media effectiveness and measurement
 
Compensation
  • $61,300-$81,700/year
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 24% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
