Are you the type of person who can't sit through a meal without critiquing how you would’ve cooked it better? Do you know your mirepoix from your mise en place? Do you have the chops to slice, dice, sauté, flambé (with restraint), and plate like your food’s going on the cover of Bon Appétit?

Well, hold on to your tongs—Red Bud Café in beautiful Daytona Beach is hiring a Line Cook! And not just any line cook—we want someone who loves the heat, lives for the hustle, and doesn’t cry when onions fight back.

WHO ARE WE?

We’re the Red Bud Café, a sunny, spicy, and slightly offbeat café serving up flavor-forward, made-from-scratch food with a dash of flair and a splash of "holy crap, this is good." Our kitchen doesn’t run on ego—it runs on collaboration, fresh ingredients, and way too much caffeine.

We cater everything from killer tapas to pig-on-a-spit parties, and we’re known for doing things our way (the right way). We're expanding, we’re booming, and we’re looking for folks who can chop with the best, hustle hard, and maybe even crack a joke while doing it.


‍ THE GIG: WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Owning your station like a boss—grill, sauté, prep, whatever’s hot (literally)
  • Making magic happen under pressure (think Hell’s Kitchen… but without the yelling)
  • Keeping things clean, safe, and organized—because salmonella is not a spice
  • Working well with others (even the morning people)
  • Having opinions about seasoning and standing by them
  • Cranking out delicious, beautiful, Instagrammable dishes at lightning speed
  • Helping with daily prep, specials, and wild culinary experiments
  • Occasionally explaining what “reduction” means to front-of-house staff

YOU’RE OUR PERFECT MATCH IF:

  • You’ve got 3+ years of kitchen experience (or just insane talent and a convincing story)
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments with hot pans and hotter playlists
  • You don’t flinch when you hear “We just got slammed with a 12-top”
  • You’re cool under pressure, and even cooler on the plate
  • You’re reliable AF—your grandma brags about your work ethic
  • You know that the walk-in cooler is not a therapy chamber (though we respect the occasional scream)
  • You’ve got ideas and creativity, but you also know how to follow the dang recipe
