Maintenance Tech

Job Description

Ensure the property is in accordance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures

• Observes all safety rules and regulations to minimize risk, ensure the safety of employees and homeowners. Inspects property and common area for unsafe conditions, clears hazards; reports safety conditions, security issues and any suspicious activity.
• Works on assigned projects, makes appropriate decisions based on work experience and individual skills. Reports any issues that are beyond capabilities.
• Performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled facilities maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
• Inspects and maintains all swimming pools in accordance with County ordinances.
• Operates vehicles and other equipment in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures. Reports any mechanical problems.
• Completes incident and accident reports as required.
• Assist in any community events that may occur.
• Skilled In use of hand and power tools
• Ability to work individually
• Professional presentation and attitude

Qualifications:

• Experience in handyman tasks
• Experience working with hand and power tools
• Good work habits: punctuality, efficiency, and prioritizing tasks
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of safety codes and standards
• Attention to detail
• CPO license preferred

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy objects (100 lbs.)
• Perform moderate physical work
• Work with cleaning solvents
• Conditions may create dirt or dust.
• Ability to work weekends
