Job Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, glassware, utensils, kitchen equipment, and food preparation areas.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and management to support efficient restaurant operations.
• Ensure all dishwashing equipment is operating safely and properly at the start of each shift; report any issues immediately.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure compliance with sanitation standards.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store all tableware, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dish room at all times.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors and work areas according to established cleaning schedules.
• Remove trash and recycling regularly and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Handle dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment carefully to prevent breakage, loss, or damage.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels of dishwashing detergents, cleaning chemicals, and related supplies.
• Clean food preparation, storage, and production areas as assigned.
• Ensure all cleaning and sanitation procedures are followed in accordance with company standards and health regulations.
• Properly store all clean dishes, glassware, cookware, and utensils in designated locations.
• Assist other restaurant team members as needed to support smooth and efficient operations.
• Adhere to all Reunion Resort & Golf Club policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Candidates must be 18 years of age and older.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a kitchen, stewarding, housekeeping, or dishwashing role preferred.
• English language proficiency is required to perform the essential functions of this position.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions, including reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in hot, wet, and fast-paced kitchen environments while following all safety and sanitation guidelines.
