Description
- Assists the lead teacher in providing and managing a warm, safe, healthy nurturing learning environment in which each child can grow intellectually, physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
- Meets children' needs in all areas.
- Carries out appropriate, positive, guidance as established by the teacher.
- Implements program goals.
- Participates as a cooperative and supportive team member.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Worked with children for at last 1 year in a group setting.
- Requires an appreciation and respect for the Catholic Church and its teachings.
- Early Learning Center employees must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with and supportive of the mission and purpose of the Church.
- Their public behavior must not violate the faith, morals or laws of the Church or the policies of the Diocese.
- Current DCF 45 hours, or willingness to complete.
- First Aide certified, or willingness to complete.
- Fire Extinguisher Training to be completed.
- CDA, or willingness to pursue.
